How business days are counted
Business days are Monday through Friday. Counting starts the day after your start date. With holidays switched on, US federal holidays are skipped as well; when a holiday falls on a Saturday it is observed the Friday before, and on a Sunday the Monday after. Banks, states and employers may close on other days, so check local rules for legal or payment deadlines.

No. The calculator treats Saturday and Sunday as non-working days, and can skip US federal holidays too.

Does the start date count?
Not by default. Counting starts the next business day, so 1 business day after a Friday is the following Monday. Tick "Count the start date" when counting between dates if the first day should be included.
How many business days are in a year?
A year has about 260 or 261 weekdays. After the 11 US federal holidays, most years have about 250 business days.
